Hey guys! So it’s a new year, time for a new and improved YOU! If you haven’t seen the term “JERF” floating around the internet it stands for Just Eat Real Food. Now I know that seems obvious…duh…why wouldn’t you? Don’t you do that already? Well the answer is no, not all the time. Hey, I’m human, I fall off the wagon, I drink wine, I eat chocolate, I buy some packaged foods *gasp*, but who doesn’t?? I’ve decided to really focus on the quality of the food that I’m putting in my body, shed a few holiday pounds and get myself back on track because it’s so easy to fall of the wagon…but I’m here to tell you that it’s also easy to hop back on!
Over the next four weeks I am making it my mission to only consume REAL FOOD. That means tons of veggies, some fruit (sugar still wreaks havoc on my body), real organic meats, no alcohol, sugar, dairy or gluten. I will eat as many label-less foods as possible. The foods I do buy from a package must have very few ingredients, no chemicals and all things I can pronounce.
