I’ve got a fabulous pre-workout snack for you that will give you all kinds of energy! With only 5 ingredients, they are a breeze to whip up. Check ’em out…
Makes 5 servings (2 balls per serving)
1/3 cup all natural peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut nectar, maple syrup, agave or honey – not vegan
1 scoop protein powder (I used Plant Fusion)
3 Tbsp ground flaxseed
2 Tbsp chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life)
2 Tbsp goji berries
Optional Ingredients
Roll balls in unsweetened coconut or cocoa powder
Instead of goji berries try dried blueberries, cranberries or raisins
Add chia seeds instead of faxseeds
Try adding dry oats
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and roll into 10 balls. Alternatively, you can press the mixture into a baking dish and cut into bars.
Freeze for about 30 minutes until set, then keep refrigerated.

My hubby was just asking me to make him some energy balls this morning. I have my own recipe but yours has a few less ingredients so I think I’ll give them a try and make them for him later today! Yum!
Yay! That’s awesome. Hope you guys like them 🙂
