2 apples (I used royal gala)

Place your oven racks on the bottom shelves and preheat your oven to 225F. Core and slice your apples using a mandolin, these are very inexpensive and worth it! If you don’t have a mandolin you could slice the apple really thin, but they need to be paper thin. Just to give you an idea, I sliced one apple into about 45 slices.
Place them on 2 or 3 baking sheets lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, then bake! Set the timer for one hour, flip them, sprinkle the other side with cinnamon/sugar and bake for another hour. Let them cool and store in an air tight container. Two apples yeilds four servings.
40 calories for half an apple, which is about 20 slices.
