The cheapest, easiest health tip you can start today!

This is how I start my day, every day…Lemon water! What’s so great about lemons?? There are so many benefits to starting your day with warm lemon water. Here are just a few:

  • It cleanses the liver
  • It is a digestive aid
  • High in vitamin C and potassium
  • Boosts your immune system
  • Helps with weight loss
  • Purifies the blood
  • Has an alkalizing effect on the body
  • Nourishes the brain cells
  • Clears the skin
  • Helps control unhealthy bacteria – fights off colds and flu’s

Next time you’re at the grocery store pick up a few, they are the cheapest fruit out there. Start every morning with a warm (yes, just warm or even room temperature – not boiling) glass of water, add the juice from half a lemon and drink this down on an empty stomach before you eat breakfast. 

Kick it up a level by adding 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (look for ones with “the mother”) to speed up weight loss, a few dashes of cinnamon (look for Ceylon cinnamon) to lower blood sugar and act as an anti-inflammatory and/or a dash of cayenne to aid in detox.
